-Owner and operator of Hot Glass Hawaii

o    Instructor and head glass blower. Responsible for creating safe and educational environment for the public to learn the glass making process.

2020

-Census Field Supervisor, US Department of Commerce, Bureau of the Census, Hawi, HI

o Responsible for managing a team of enumerators in counting the people from a section of the island.

2019- 2020

-Facilities Technician and Ceramics Studio Coordinator and Instructor, Kohala Village HUB, Hawi, HI o Responsible for the maintenance and care of the multiple properties, facilities, and equipment. 

o    Responsible for creating ceramics programing, maintaining, and operating equipment, teaching and running open studios.

2018-2019 

-Wind Turbine Technician, EDF Renewables, Hawi, HI 

o Team member of three technicians that operated and maintained 21 Vestas V47 Wind Turbines at two locations.  Completed CPR certification, Tower Rope Rescue Training, High Voltage Training, and multiple Advanced Level Technician tasks.   

2010-Current

-Owner and operator of Remodel Artist LLC.

o    A licensed and insured general contracting company specializing in all aspects of home renovation.

o    Responsible for maintaining client relations, preparing estimates and invoices, developing budgets and timelines, designing room layouts, sourcing materials, managing multiple projects simultaneously and overseeing subcontractors.

2014- 2018

-Owner and operator of Lancaster Ceramics, Mount Joy, PA

o A pottery and ceramic sculpture studio offering lessons and custom home accents.

-Owner of the Glass Haus

o Conceptual design and business development lead for an educational hot glass blowing studio that tapped into the experience-based economy.

2015-2018

-Production Glass Blower, Stiegel Glassworks 1976, Manheim, PA

o Designed and produced blown glass products and custom Awards. As well as providing hot glass demonstrations and lessons.

2017-2018

-Lab Technician, 3C: Ceramics, Composites and Coatings, Inc. Lancaster, PA

o Lead carpenter on the buildout of a 4,000 square foot ceramic engineering laboratory. Responsible for building and maintaining equipment and helping operations while the material production process was occurring. Also responsible for researching funding opportunities through the SBIR program.

 2013

-Project Manager & Office Manager, Blesso Properties, NY, NY

o Managed the office and matters of a real estate development company in Chelsea, Manhattan. Handled daily operations in an office environment.  Operated as project manager for a historic façade renovation at 422 W 22nd st.  Responsible for reviewing bids, hiring contractors, working with architects, pulling permits and jobsite relations.

O Helped instruct an 8-week introduction to glass blowing class.

o Helped to build out a 3,000 square foot public access woodshop and education spaces for an art centric business in Bushwick, Brooklyn.

o Responsible for helping to build and install various sculptural installations in a gallery environment and at the art fair, Art Miami.

-Studio Technician & Instructor, Goggle Works Center for the Arts, Reading, PA

 o Maintained and operated kilns, furnaces, raw materials and studio spaces in a world class ceramics and glass facility.  Helped with programs and art events in a nonprofit environment. Developed class curriculum and taught intro and advanced classes in both wheel thrown pottery and mouth blown glass.
